Rail Industry Level 7 Senior Leader Workshop
We’re looking for an Investor Leader to contribute to our Railway Performance workshop. Drawing on your leadership experience, you’ll help participants navigate operational complexity with confidence – strengthening the partnerships that keep the network moving. Your insight will support them in simplifying key processes, driving innovation and elevating both efficiency and customer experience, even under financial pressure and intense demand.
What is required from you:
At this workshop, Level 7 senior leaders from across the rail industry will learn to identify and remove barriers to railway performance.
- Share real examples of how organisational boundaries affect performance.
- Help participants distinguish between genuine constraints and organisational choices.
- Challenge thinking when they fall back on traditional assumptions.
- Provide insight into the actual costs of handoffs and fragmented decision-making.
- Support discussions on whole-system performance.
The workshop runs 9:00-16:30 and includes exercises on systems thinking, mapping interfaces, and reducing complexity.
Skills alignment:
To maximise the impact of this workshop, we’re seeking Investor Leaders with hands-on, real-world experience that aligns directly with the focus area.
- You will have operated at a senior level yourself
- You will have a good understanding of performance measures and criteria within railway
- You will ideally have experience of railway performance in other parts of the world
Your experience and insight will bring the learning to life, offering participants practical perspectives they can immediately apply in their roles.
