Rail Industry Level 7 Senior Leader Workshop
We’re looking for an Investor Leader to support our Resilient Leadership workshop. By bringing your strategic perspective, you’ll help participants strengthen decision-making in high-stakes situations and maintain focus amid operational challenges. Through your guidance, they’ll build the capability to lead teams through complex change and embed resilience thinking into everyday practice across their functions and service environments.
What is required from you:
At this workshop, Level 7 senior leaders from across the rail industry will learn how to build resilience into their teams, operations and relationships while managing daily pressures.
- Share real examples of how you’ve built resilience in rail operations (or similar 24/7 environments).
- Explain what worked and what didn’t when implementing resilience practices.
- Discuss how you’ve managed relationships across unions, stakeholders and regulators during pressure.
- Answer participants’ questions about building resilience in resource-constrained environments.
- Challenge their thinking on what creates genuine operational resilience versus just crisis response.
The workshop runs 9:00-16:30 and includes discussions on clarity, stability and rhythm in operations, plus sessions on stakeholder relationships and practical resilience building. You will be given the floor for up to 60 mins to deliver a presentation/engage in a Q&A.
Skills alignment:
To maximise the impact of this workshop, we’re seeking Investor Leaders with hands-on, real-world experience that aligns directly with the focus area.
- You will have operated at a senior level yourself
- You will have proven expertise in delivering operational continuity, performance and resilience
- You will ideally have experience of railway performance in different parts of the world
- You can bring experience from both inside and outside of the railway
Your experience and insight will bring the learning to life, offering participants practical perspectives they can immediately apply in their roles.
