Training

For sports people training is everything – it is the key to unlock to success and realise potential. In the business world it is often seen as the soft and fluffy preserve of HR… We aim to make training an essential part of business life as it is in sport. To do this we make our training focused, applicable in the ‘real’ world and building on solid skills, knowledge which can continued to be developed and refined as participants become more skilful.

Our in-house team fully appreciate and apply the benefits of training. Some learning and development professionals state training to be ‘old hat’ and out of date compared to facilitation.

We see it differently. There is a time and a place for training and facilitation. For instance, if your company has a specific language, tone and manner you would like all employees to use when engaging with customers on the phone or over email, we would run a training session on why, what and how to do that. As the outcome is fixed, there is little point facilitating a session on how it could be done – then telling participants how to do it…

Our training follows a specific process driven cycle to ensure participants leave the room capable of applying the new knowledge and skill.

Testimonials

I found new time management techniques that I have used ever since. I have also been told by my peers that I have changed as a manager, which I can only put down to what I have learnt over the past 13 months.
