Job role: Functional Skills Trainer
Salary: up to £32,000 – depending on experience
Location: Remote and onsite with learners
Are you looking for a new challenge with a fast-paced business? We are looking for a talented individual to join us as a Functional Skills Trainer at an exciting time of growth.
In this role you will be an integral member of our learner-facing team, working closely with the quality coach team to ensure each participant is progressing through their learning journey at the appropriate pace.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the full delivery and assessment of English and Maths up to level 2
- Carrying out initial and diagnostic assessments with learners
- Delivering Functional Skills qualifications in accordance with company guidelines and timescales (both in person and virtually)
- Adapting delivery and assessment as appropriate to meet a range of participants' needs and support learners who need special consideration and adjustments
- Reviewing learning materials and delivery methods to drive innovation and continuous improvement
- Maintaining paperwork in accordance to the company's required standards
- Ensuring a high level of learner retention
- Consistently reviewing and assessing learner’s performance
- Being motivational and driving learners to achieve in line with agreed targets and deadlines
- Adhering to organisational and funding requirements for completion of initial paperwork
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in delivering functional skills both face-to-face and virtually
- Ability and willingness to travel to visit and support team members around the UK when needed
- A high level of attention to detail and organisational ability to work across multiple areas of the business effectively
Package
- Competitive basic salary of up to £32,000 per annum
